Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Is anyone familar with Maki Plastics? I was going to oder some of his soft plastics, they are amazing from what I heard and read, but going to the site is impossible! It appears to be riddle with viruses! Does anyone know how a guy can get his hands on some or does anyone know if the site will be up soon?

I've read very good things about them and plan to order some some day.

There has been some discussion about them on crappie.com and bluegilltalk.com.

I've also read about problems with their site. Might try to get some via phone.
If you have a number could you send it my way?
Patrick, I have used Maki plastics and they are very good....both open and hard water. However, on some of the ice fishing sites, they are reporting the same issue as you. As an alternative, try Little Atom plastics....excellent plastics for panfish...both open and hard water. You can purchase the Little Atom plastics at yourbobbersdown.com Some of my favorites are the Nuggies, Micro Nuggies, Duppies, and Spidgies. Let me know if you need help or more information.
Bullworm, Blackhawks is right on about the Little atoms if they are a feeding hard you wont need to tip with anything other than the plastic as many times that is eaten along with any tipping material (spikes, waxies).
Go to Wallgreens and buy a couple of spagetti balls. Cut into 2 inch longs pieces and use small ice jigs works for me Tight lines Rich
