Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Could be wrong, but I think this is a redear x bluegill cross, which would make it my ver first one.

Thanks, guys! It would be cool to catch one over 10 inches, but this is the first one I have seen in this lake and redears have been in it for a dozen or more years. It is cool to watch these critters spawn.

Love this site right up there with the report site I love.Wish I had the same knowledge you all have but I am learning a great deal on this site.Love the great pics been a fan of Musky Mods for a year or 2 now also does some great videos and one good gill man. By the way not trying to toot a horn for anyone but you should all check out Mods youtube site for some of his great spoon feeding footage.

The lack of fin bordering tells me with virtual certainty that's a gillcracker. Very nice. Good job, my friend.
