Two men have been sitting out on a lake all day long ice fishing. One has been having no luck at all, while the other has been pulling fish after fish out of his hole in the ice. The man having no luck finally leans over and asks the other what his secret is.
"mmmmm mmm mm mmm mmmm mmm mmm," is the reply.
"I'm sorry, what did you say?"
"mmmmm mmm mm mmm mmmm mmm mmm," the successful fisherman repeats.
"I'm sorry, I still didn't understand you." The man spits something into his hand and says very clearly,
My Dad-n-law used to keep his "next at bat" maggots in his mouth when ice fishin'. Sadly, I'm not kidding. steve, oh, we brought home 6 'gills, all about 7". Yum. steve b
I would say thats discusting but I know a few old men that put there crickets in there mouths so they dont have to dig in the bucket when there on hot beds. They just twidle them around like sunflower seeds. I thought I was gonna yak when I seen it done the first time. There excuse I dont wanna be diggin in that bucket. My advice JUST BUY A WHOLE BUNCH OF CRICKETS AND COUNT YOUR $2 worth of losses!
Both died of old age. Used one of Pa-n-law's, who just bought 3 new ones for his Carolina skiff. Bought one new one for my 12' Jon boat. Will make second assualt on the 'Gills sometime this weekend. steve b
