As hot as the weather has been this July, I have experienced great gill fishing in multiple venues this month....2012 is rivaling 2007 as one of my best years ever for total fish as I have passed the 3000 sunfish milestone for the season.....Actually, the fishing has been really good since 2005 with 2008 a little tougher with the exceptional drought in our region.....Putting the time in, knowing your area and trusting your fishing instincts can pay great dividends.......
