@J. Gronaw - Thank you, Jim. Thats how I feel about it.

At first I was kind of ho-hum over being a grandfather and my daughter having a baby. But my ambivalence has changed to gratefulness.

@Greg: My daughter is already up an raising Cain! She wanted some Mexican food and  a beer yesterday... 'fraid thats out for a couple of weeks. She'll breastfeed until then, you know.

Thomas Jeremy was 6 lbs even and kinda small-ish - dunno how long. He is fine and healthy and in good shape... just on the small size. By the way, thats not Momma in the photo, just a family well-wisher. MY daughter refused any camera's for now! :-)
