I caught a pretty big Coppernose on 7/3 that had a big chunk out of his back but it didn't appear to slow him down. Looks like a turtle or another predator fish hit this gill when he was smaller. Pretty neat how fish can recover....

Until you got him that is!!  Some fish are pretty resiliant!
