Caught this fish cruising around the shallows. I think she is a female who recently dropped her eggs.

Nice fish, Andre! My boss fished Liberty last Sunday and did poorly...one small bass. But at Prettyboy last Thurs, he and his friend Ron caught 30 smallmouths, with 10 going from 4 to 5.5 pounds.
Prettyboy is literally a world class smallmouth fishery!

I'd say she was female cruising for corn meal and hot peanut oil... tip O' the hat! I ate two yesterday that ALMOST added up to that one... but I like to let the REAL bruisers swim away... just a choice... small lake here. GOOD ONE! Peace...
