Hi!

I'm a new guy from Seattle Washington and have the same question from fellow Washington Big Bluegill hunters. I have a friend who sent me to Swafford Pond on the way to Morton, Wa.
It is an excellent lake. I would also like to hear from people near Seattle so I don't have to drive so far to fish.. I have also been told to fish Harts Lake and Lake Kapowsin south of Tacoma. I will try this spring.

Rat City Bruce
Lake Sammamish State park in Issaquah has good panfish fishing I have caught a lot of blue gills there
Roses near Lake Chlan(sp) has a lot of eight inchers. You can get a lot of them starting in May. I've got them up to11 inch and don't keep any under 7 1/2 and get all I want.
Made my 1rst trip to WA last October. Was the fish trip of my life. You have a lot of awesome opportunities out there. With all the salmon and trout, the thought of bluegill never crossed my mind. Imagine you have several overlooked bluegill fisheries. I have a cousin in Everett and I'll ask him next time we talk. OK, my best spot was the Pike Brewery and those Kilt Lifters ( a Scotch style ale) are a top notch catch.
