Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I know my bass spawn in March when the water temperature gets above 68 degrees.
( South Texas) When and how many times a year does the bluegill spawn?

I found this little bit of information
Bluegill Spawn - When water is over 65 degrees on the full moon bluegill will spawn. They will spawn every full moon from March to September in some southern states and year round in Florida.

Me and my bass want them to breed like rabbits. I'll get on the wed and see what I can find and ask the boys on pond boss.

What I most want to know is WHERE! But knowing their temp requirements is a good start. I would think you could find them spawning in the deep south from March through September though I have been told by some pond managers around my area they bed year round. If temps are of primary importance, I doubt year round would hold true. Then again, if their preferred spawning temp is a range of say 10 degrees, as the temps rise over the summer, or fall in the winter, would they move their beds to deeper water? Inquiring minds want to know.
