Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

...very good early morning and late evening. I caught over 80 panfish(bluegills, crappies.strippers) on night crawlers and cricket jig.I guess you can say they were in the pre-spawn mode. Catfish were a problem cause most of them I caught were small but put up a good fight...now I'm wondering if the panfish in the chain-no-lakes are bitting? I shall find out this weekend and post some pics if my luck is good,

That's one of my favorite typos, along with "12-volt posi" and "two-ton wench" both commonly seen in the day when newspaper car ads were phoned in and taken by operators with no clue as to what a 12-bolt posi or two-ton winch might be :)

Better let you know, as for spelling, if you're talking about the white, black, and silver fish that can grow to 50+ pounds, it's "striper".

"Stripper" is the word for the ones around the pole.

Believe me, I do plenty of saltwater fishing for stripers aka striped bass, which you also find in southern freshwater lakes.
