Hey Mike, he uses a Wilderness Systems 120 ultra light sit on top(SOT) kayak. You should choose your kayak according to how you plan to use it. Buy the dvd, it a section on there that covers that topic. If you plan on fishing rivers I would buy a sit on top, on lakes you can get by with a sit inside or a hybrid model like the Native Ultimate with the angler package. Good Luck and remember to wear a PFD at all times.
