That is one ultra long drive. Sure you want to drive that far to fish at the water hole? LOL That is one truly amazing water clarity. Plenty of vegetation to give a great filtration of incoming rain water..but man, that is a lot of work.

I love Hybrid Bluegills. And the male BG doesn't need to be a Coppernose, a Northern BG will do nicely. I just put another 100 in a cage a few days ago.

Still on a borrowed internet connection.... maybe tomorrow....

Hybrid Bluegill are a cross between a male coppernose bluegill and a female green sunfish. They are not true hybrids. they are bred to be 95% male, they will reproduce, and they do degenerate back into the parent fish which is why most people do not like the hybrid gills.

I'm really impressed with the water clarity. For some reason, the older I get, the more I'm drawn to clear water. Fishing is funner, and the experience has a much higher esthetic value. It really turns my crank when I can see fish swimming under the surface.

Thanks a lot for the video.

Any time some one says, aww, it's a bass, and it turns out to be a gill...... Envy doesn't even begin to describe my emotions!
