My Dad introduced me to fishing as soon as I could hold a cane pole, and "Bream" where the training tool. Recently we got some land to build a new home on. It had a 45 year old pond on it that was grown over and the dam was leaking. Before the ink was dry on the closing documents we had the pond "re-conditioned". That was a year ago this month, this past March we restocked it with HBG and LMB. Dad has been chomping at the bit to catch something out of it, and in July he started showing up with an ultra lite with a hook-less beetle spin on it (just to feel 'em bump it!) A month after that the beetle spin suddenly had a hook on it and he was practicing "catch and release"! I expect to come home any day to the smell of fryin' Blue Gill. A'int it amazing how the circle of life works, 50 years ago all of my Dad's actions would have been mine. FISH ON DAD, CATCH 'EM ALL!
