Somewhere between .50 and 3.50 lbs...........????

Realistically it is probably +/- 1 lb.

As moderator of www.bigbluegill.com , I proclaim Nate Herman's bluegill to be the biggest bluegill ever captured on film, until it can be proven otherwise!

Joe,
I made no claims to the actual size of the bluegill, because there is no measuring stick. I simply claimed that this is the biggest bluegill ever captured on film. Regardless of how big the fish actually is, I will assume the crown until someone posts footage of a bigger bluegill. (or at least a bluegill that looks bigger?)

What's being used as a comparing stick to show the size of the bluegill ? Great footage, but I can't really tell how big this fish is.

I am highly impressed. That was clearly the biggest bluegill I've seen on any underwater video. I am so fired up right now! Fantastic work!!!

This may not be the best underwater bluegill video of all time, but it is perhaps the biggest bluegill ever captured on film while scuba diving. If you disagree my claim, please post some footage of a bigger bluegill!
