... this was the popular setup for fishing close to the bank and accurate casting next to stickups and heavy cover etc. the super line I felt was a necessity for handling and horsing any larger fish or an occasional predator from diving back into cover. in this case was 6-0# test Nanofil which was 1-0# test mono equivalent. that Nanofil i believe rates at over 10 or feels like it anyway.

i preferred the slip float setup over the fixed float mainly because of the accurate casting associated with. the fixed float setups usually ended up in the trees due to its cartwheeling end over end. ouch

Dick... The area of water you are looking at is only about 14 to 18 inches deep with the main Creek channel running along the bank adding an extra. 2 ft.. After a couple days of heavy boat traffic it gets stirred up quite a bit

thanks guys!..

im actually getting used to this camera now after owning it for two years... never pushed myself to use it until lately. video editing software is where im lost... and i want to edit for free... so im limited... alot to learn!

carl yep dangling the feet in the water is so relaxing... with the sit on top kayak its actually designed for that. that yak is like fishing off a lazy boy. i was stopped by the DNR for a license check a couple days ago and the two of them were impressed with the setup and i got a few compliments.
