Thanks it's the only way i fish for them. Way better than waiting for a bobber
to go down and it's better to catch them on flys that i tie.

Thanks for listening and letting me vent my frustration on this subject. I will be going back in about two weeks, that should give it time to clear, providing he does not dump more fertilize in the lake. As long as he is doing this the fishing will be slow.

I agree with you that fertilize lakes produce larger fish---but my complaint is why does these people at this lake continue to dump fertilize into the lake every two week until the end of September? They told me that if they can see a foot down in the water that they need to fertilize to keep the water from becoming clear and to slow vegetation. I think this is non sense. The game and fish in Alabama said that you only need to fertilize four or five times a year starting in June through August. This type of fertilizing hampers the fishing to the point that the fish have trouble seeing your fly.

Hi Tobias, The pics of flys black widow is a good fly. flyanglersonline under Richard Komar. He is a good teacher and has some great flies. The weird fly is maribou tail, rubber leg wrapped up for the body. Tied this one on a shrimp hook. Worked great. Runs hook up all fish had the hook in the roof of the mouth. The fly with the white legs, I think will be a good un. Friend of mine tied it playing with new dubbing he had. . He was just playing around. I got it tied in several colors. Jury is still out on the fly. Looks good tho don't it.

Hey Tobias, Thanks for adding me to your friends list. I'm here in Columbus, and fish the banks of the Chattahoochee, and small lakes and ponds for bream. I flyfish, use hand-poured jigs and grubs, and will use live bait when nothing else works. Where do you bream fish in Rome? Stay in touch and tight lines. Nick.
