Thanks for the welcome! I ran across this site in the "InFisherman" article about Richmond Mill Pond. I've guided for crappie on Buggs Island lake in VA since I retired 6 yrs ago. Been fishin 250-300 days a yr since retirement, but fished nearly that much before retirement! I consider myself a multi-species fisherman, but Bluegill an "crackers are among my favorites. Never pass up the opportunity to flick a poppin bug for some big Gills an have started many children fishin by puttin'em on a bed where I put on crickets an take off bluegills! Lookin forward to sharing with Y'all!

Thanks for the welcome Dick! My memories of fishin with my dad were the best when we hooked some bluegills! The thought of almost burnin my mouth on the first bite of a sizzlin 3 or 4 incher comin outta the skillet makes my mouth water!  I look forward to exchangin info and pix and most of all GILLS!

Dick I saw were you use a triggerspin reel and I was wanting to know how they worked out for you and did they holdup and what brand did you have.

hey thanks for letting me on the forum. i was just wondering im new to the lake palistine area and was wondering if there is anyone from the area on here that would not mind sharing some info about the lake. such as refering some spots to try and some types of bait. i have been out a few times only to come back with a few cats but i really love some big blue gill and or crappie/white perch.

how do i use he pages? my page.. what is that like a personal page to have individual conversations? most other site have personal messages for that. almost like a email with in the website that goes directly to me.
