Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

A hook out tool can be easily made from an old ball point pen tube. Pull out the ink cartridge and insert a plastic arrow nock with a little glue if it does not fit snug. An old pen tube with an attached clip is the most convenient. A package of arrow nocks can be found in the hunting department. I selected the narrowest knocks I could find to better fit into smaller bluegill mouths. Once completed, push the knock down to the hook bend. Then with a little tension on the line you can usually back the hook out.

LOL I hear you Marcus. Don't worry, we have plenty of minds in this place to make new revolution/evolution of things, even out of a simple toothpick.

Thanks Leo.
I would like to try something slimmer for the smaller fish, but I don't move very fast with ideas in the winter.

That's pretty awesome! Have you try something with even a smaller radius? Stainless steel/copper tubing, 1/8"? Perfect to recover from even the smallest fry.
