Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

The weather has been spring like for the past two weeks in northern Illinois(Waukegan) and I was wondering if the water temp. is in the mid 40's would chumming bring the gills into 7-10 feet of water? I hoping so cause I'm going out this weekend to try my luck at my honeyhole.

There is only one way to find out and that is go do it. My fish are coming into the feed with the evening being the best time. So they are herding up and coming into the food, I know its not quit the same but you won't know until you do it. GOOD FISHIN..

Mid 40's is still kinda low - the fish just wont be into a fast action feeding mood.

Chumming might help, but theyre still kinda slow and probably not really hungry yet.
