You could use a Rebel Crawfish. Bass and bluegill love crawfish. The Rebel crawfish must be the smallest size for bluegill to bite. Bigger ones will just attract bass and sometimes big bluegill but not most of the time.

Hi
Yes there are numbers of lures out there that will catch big bluegills on beds, and after they move back to deep water. I did a piece on fishing these lures on my blog a while back. You can check it out at the is link, if you would like to sign up as one of my followers there is a link to do. The piece I wrote is about clear water fishing for gills in deep water, but I have caught a bunch of gills in small lakes using this set-up. Hope it helps you out. http://btrussell-fishingthroughlife.blogspot.com/search/label/Micro%20Light%20Fishing

try using the strike king bitzy minnow. it works for catching larger bluegills or try using corn.

grubs and crickhoppers crankbaits for artificial.

BAss
