You could use a Rebel Crawfish. Bass and bluegill love crawfish.The Rebel crawfish must be the smallest size for bluegill to bite. Bigger ones will just attract bass and sometimes big bluegill but not most of the time.

Yes there are numbers of lures out there that will catch big bluegills on beds, and after they move back to deep water. I did a piece on fishing these lures on my blog a while back. The piece I wrote is about clear water fishing for gills in deep water, but I have caught a bunch of gills in small lakes using this set-up.
