I'd rather be all wet than live in a dry state!

It says: There will be winners and losers! Soooooooo........... I proclaim myself the winner of the 2009 Bluegill Christmas Carol Contest. End of story.

Sharon, as you can see by the link, the Christmas carol thing was NO CONTEST. You couldn't win, only play. There were some good ones there and I see no reason to start a new one. Just go to the old discussion by this link and make a reply when you want. I started it on Dec 3 last year. Any old discussions that get a new post on them are brought to the top of the activity list on here. Or maybe Bruce will feature it again when Christmas gets closer.

I'll wait for this year's Halloween contest. BTW - who "won" the Christmas carol contest in 2009?

Hmm! I recall you and I collaberated on a good one or two last year. Some of the best stuff I do is stolen. You can't tell it though because I turn it into a masterpiece. It's almost like I can make a silk purse out of a sows ear.

Since it is so early in the year, and I don't have any of my own made up, may I invite you to revisit another fun contest that may tide you over.

http://bigbluegill.com/forum/topics/halloween-before-and-after. While the prizes from last year have already been awarded, your name is ripe with possibilities for the contest. Just reply to the old one with your new one. I will treat you just like my BBG.com hero, LOFR. You can even cheat like we did. Rules allow certain kinds of cheating.

yes, but I'm not telling until the contest officially starts, otherwise YOU would steal my ideas
