pine lake La Porte,In

went fishing on pine lake 9/21/11 got on the lake at about 9am fished several spots with no luck fished 16 to 24 ft of water. at 1 pm with the sun high in clear water ( could see 5 to 6 feet deep) they started hitting at 16 to 24 ft .got 31 nice gills by 3:30 they quit used wax worms & 1/2 nightcrawlers.

may 2010

Just got back from my annual may fishing trip to lake sullivan in sullivan county, In .Brought home 440 fish total not including what we ate there.we had two people fishing for 5 days,but there we 5 people for 3 days.We fished for gills but caught crappie also.the lake had larger gills this year .the fish bit on wigglers,night crawlers ,small jigs, and wax worms

Fishing spots

I like to fish the lakes and strip pits of sullivan and green counties,the indiana dnr has done a great job of stocking these lakes and pits with many varities of fish.they run all the way from musky to gills. gills being my favorite an catching other fish by accident.my second favorite is crappie.lots of them too.i live in la porte county which is on lake michigan ,i perch fish on the big lake.i used to camp at sullivan county lake and park for about ten years ,but have since purchased a… Continue
