Christmas trees

Now that the ice is off, I'm getting ready to drop some Christmas trees. I've got a spot just on the edge of deep water access and a stones throw from a shallow weed flat...

Welcome aboard Ray glad your here. I put this group together to help us understand our electronics what all they can do and how to operate and understand it. There is so much they can do we really don't know about. I'm the worst at the finder and here to tell you it's nobodies fault but my own. I learn parts of it and don't fish for a long while and forget what I did learn from my last outing. I was told by a knowledgeable gentleman use it or loose it. That is a true statement at least for me. Hoping this will help some of us out if you have any question don't be afraid to ask I'm sure there is others with the same question that just don't ask so you'll be helping them also.

I finally got out to fish it felt great and we know it don't take much to make me happy in the fishing department. My sweet sister in law said she would set with the wife if I wanted to go. I guess we knew what that answer would be. I didn't catch lots of fish but I caught some quality fish. That don't mean I didn't catch any small ones cause I did. I threw them back. I did get about 6 P seeds probably between 6 and 7 inches that I wish I had kept and put in my pond, to me they are the most beautiful fresh water fish going. I used 1 ½ inch white pearl twister tail with a red 1/16 oz head. I caught total of 6 crappies,4 large mouth bass, 6 punkin seeds, 3 bluegills, 1 rock bass and 8 small perch. Had a blast. Have a good day and GOOD FISHIN..
