Michael Caserman caught this 4 pounds 13 ounces, Bluegill on Lake Havasu on June 6. The 16-inches fish was caught around 11 a.m. on McCoy fishing line using 12-pound test with bait. Caserman suggests Havasu anglers fish early in the morning or at night around dusk, around shallow embankments.

All but the 1lb 2oz bluegill that was 11" long were caught at lake Havasu. The one I mentioned was caught in Nebraska about 1975., Most of the ones I get here are Redear Sunfish, or a Bluegill Redear cross.
