Hey Ed,
Instead of me writing you a long comment how about just visiting my site (Michael Knowles). I from just down south of you in Avon Park. Haven't fished in your area other than Lake Cherry years and years ago. We did poorly (cold and windy) until right at sunset. They started hitting at the edge of a thick reed line and I caught my best average weight stringer, 4 @ about 21lbs if a remember right, with the largest a nice 8lb 14 oz on a Super Frog. We fished a lake in a chain of lakes and when I looked at the map I figured that's the lake it was. There's a super tackle shop in your hometown or a very nearby one. Can't remember the name but it is well stocked and has a back room with antique tackle in it. I thought about fishing some night-time tourneyments that shop sponsored but never did. Well I guess I've written a long comment after all.
Take Care,
Mike Knowles

Thanks for the offer Ed.

Here's the link to the new group.

Join it and see if you can get a couple of the others to pop in. You could trade some regional information without getting the posts lost in all the traffic.

Welcome to the Big Bluegill group, Ed.

We're thinking of creating a special group just for your region. Any thoughts?
