The Bully Spider is a winner, for sure.
Another I like along the same lines is the Humbug.

Jigs and bugs under a float have produced for a many a year for me.......my favorite approach year round.....

We used to fish with mostly crickets at our camp.  A few times I would not be able to find bait on the way.  I tried using a fly under a bobber on my telescopic 'cane pole'.  I managed to catch a few that way.

Thanks guys. 

I haven't tied anything in a good while & these are my first Cap Spiders.  Most of my tying was for saltwater.  I've done some poppers and Bully's Spiders and the Bully's were pretty effective at our Alabama camp.

HHHHHHHHHHHA HHHHHHHA MR. STEVENS when I started 30+ years ago I didn't need a hearing aid or glasses either !!!!!! Got several pairs of glasses now but no hearing aid, I CAN HEAR MY SUPERVISOR HERE WHEN I NEED TO .......MY WIFE that is ...........

Got the jig heads I ordered & wanted to try tying up some Cap Spiders.  All on 1/124 oz size 10. Last time I did any tying, I didn't need glasses. :0
