Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

This was one of only 2 gills I caught on a jig/crawler combo today, but he was the boss at 11.25 inches!

That is a heck of a nice fish, Jim. Im like Bruce in that I like to hear the details.

And let me say, you have the 'fish foto' down to a science. Never a pile of dead fish or some grumpy look for you. You're always smiling, the fish always looks like it just came from the water and you always present with such a great perspective angle.

Yes, this fish bumped the firetiger with a piece of crawler on it, like Bruce's search option with the jig/worm combo. But I only managed one other fish on it, as winds kicked up so bad we could not cast and feel tiny jigs. You have to actually play these fish out on 2 pound test line.
