Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Went to a creek about 15 minutes from my house caught 27,a mix of sunfish from gills to longears and hybrids of green sunfish and longear.

Hey JB,there are creeks,rivers,and lakes all within 30 minutes from my house.I really feel very lucky....

I looked at your town on the map, looks like lots of water around there, it's sure tempting ;-) My employer has a major facility in Austin and I'm sure I could get relocated there, but I'm pretty committed to San DIego for the foreseeable future. Family obligations, it's my home town, and after having just moved back here I'm still traumatized from moving LOL. I hate moving :p

Yes sir Vince creek fishing sure is a lot of fun.I absolutely love fishing this creek. I have caught carp,cats,bass,gar and a wide variety of sunfish out of there.

Creek fishing is a lot of fun. You never know from one cast to the next what might race out and grab your bait. A lot of times the fish seem scrappier too.

They only get to around 7 inches but love catching these.....
