What areas of water are the best to locate these fish?

Has anyone ever transplanted these to a pond?

NICE goggle eye! We had some over the 12" mark to day but they were still shy of the state record! Were getting closer and closer!

Just above the tail fin, behind the dorsal fin is a shark fin sticking up out of the water. And you're all the time worried about our gators!
