Sunfish bite lasts through Halloween Tooty and then picks back up in March.....Coppernose gills do not like the cold period....water temperatures below 48 degrees and that bite shuts down period.....I'll still catch Crappie, White Perch, Yellow Perch and Stripers during the Winter.......
Crab limit is 50 a person per day in North Carolina which is way more than we ever need.....I kept 3 dozen yesterday and we'll make two meals off them and some she crab soup as well!
