The mouth does look kinda small for a Warmouth, kinda hard to tell

Thanks guys, I thought warmouth but his mouth wasn't huge like they normally are....maybe a hybrid...

Dead giveaway on this one is the red-tipped gill flap. It doesn't have to be red though, I have seem them tipped purple and light blue.

Best way to know is to count the spines on the anal fin.  Warmouth has 3, Rock Bass has 6.  Hard to tell from this pic, but that looks like 3 spines.
