It was a good fight , Ken. We don't mess around with the catties in this small lake...we have banked several in excess of 30 inches here and lost a monster tonight. We use 20 lb braid with a 20 lb mono leader and 4/0 circle hooks and a variety of baits. We also utilize European bite alarms to signal strikes after dark with baitrunner reels. Unfortunately, we only got two fish on six runs tonight. My biggest here is a PR of 33 inches.

Even with the heavier gear, these cats still fight like demons!
