Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

This is the specimens....the little brown variety....I have good luck keeping them alive for days in the Summer using cut up potatoes for moisture and a little corn meal for food....Heat is the enemy and of course Panfish!

Ideally you use them up Cal because the fish were biting great!.......But I'm so conservative when I go, I take lots of extras and end up in the "dog house" at home because of the cricket symphony out in the garage......But potatoes cut up will give you some extra time to preserve your live crickets...
