Jim ,The fishing hasn't been good .The home lake is producing smaller than usual fish . Maybe I'm losingmy touch.

David ,I call him an elitist cause he looks down on Bluegills .

That's funny, calling a man who DOESN'T do fly rods an "elitist."
Its a solid bass, ain't it?

not liking gills to me is just un-American!!

Comment by John Sheehan on May 26, 2013 at 8:44am

I hear ya Carl .I bust his chops and tell him he is an Elitist and Elitists are not allowed in my boat! I think the flyrod will help . For me ,catching a bunch ,cleaning ,cooking and eating really turned me onto Gills.

if he tries a fly rod and gills- if he will be hooked forever!!  who doesn't like gills on flies??

Comment by John Sheehan on May 26, 2013 at 8:36am

I got to get him to appreciate Bluegills though ! I think if I turn him onto flyrod poppin' Gills he'll learn just how great Bluegills really are !
