Dont see Fliers in New Jersey .I tried a search to find their range but came up empty.

John if you find them they'll hit.....middle of the day......they group up like other Sunfish as I almost always catch more than one when I catch Fliers....The best part is these fish are still active in low oxygen conditions.....Many times after heavy rains we have swamp run-off and many species shut down but the Fliers will still hammer a bait......Just good to have versatility in your fishing......

They even have big eyes kinda like Crappie.Do they prefer feeding under lowlight conditions like Crappie Jeffrey or are they more like 'Sunnies'?
