Do you love big bluegill?
I had to find a float that held up to the larger monofilament.......Although I only got to try this indicator for about an hour yesterday, it was in good shape.......

At this point in the season I will cast and let it sit and perhaps pop it a couple times but many fish now are hitting this bait right away sometimes on the fall....
Jeff,
Do you horizontal jig and reel in your jig and bobber slowly, or do you let the bobber stay in one place???? Just wondering.
Dilly
The little kits I purchase are roughly $10.00 to 12.00, depending on the mark up at the particular bait shop........The most bass I ever caught in one trip was on these dart jigs......A pond in Paris, Texas back in 1983 yielded over 60 largemouth in a catch and release environment so I may have caught the same fish more than once...moral of the story is, fish like the size and at least check it out when a bigger bait might get passed over........
Well, I asked because, as you know, Im an ebay hound. I found a young man selling 50 of the shad darts for $6 + $2.75 shipping. That seemed fair enough, and I didnt want 100 of them - at least not now.
They are a bit rough on the finish, but I can accept that at this price.
I like the trout magnet heads Jim.......Size and finish is the only differences I know of David....They really get hammered!
I got me some 1/64 dart heads, w/ #8 hooks. I haven tried them yet. Is there something different about the Trout Magnet heads, other than their really fine finish?
Do you like the trout magnet heads? I have a pretty good supply of what we call 'micro-darts' for gills and such. Everything in the lake/river/pond will take them...one of the greatest lure types ever...a 'back east' favorite.
Dime sized - I use foam ear plugs that I ram a sharp awl through. Then a tooth pick to hold things in place.
Ive not used them with weighted jigs, though.
