Cool! I got some gills yesterday That ran around 8 inches long and many of them were dark males. Then, at another lake, I picked up only a half dozen...all big males from 9.5 to just over ten inches. All went back, then I got my 'best ever bass on 2 pound test'...a 21 incher, while scouting for gills. The gills like the Pink Thing with a worm piece and the bass took a simple worm below a bobber #8 hook. Here's the bass on 2 lb test released of course.
