Do you love big bluegill?

Supposed three pound bluegill from Texas. To be perfectly honest with you, this fish looks every bit of three pounds.

I'm not exactly sure what the story behind this fish is. It was provided to me by AaronM, our BBG co-creator. I think it may have been what I call an "incidental". By that I mean that there was no intent to grow a bluegill this big, but a fish farm pond that was kept at optimal water quality and unlimited food resources.

Not that it matters, but is that a "wild" fish, or is it a "raised" fish? I'm just curious...an incredible fish either way.

If that is wild then we need to send a team of scientists to Texas...

Awesome.
