Yes....I did notice the big eyes which appeared to be a clue but I'm not to good at figuring out when a fish is stunted....North Carolina actually has a minimum size of 8" on Crappie but we were in Virginia where there is no minimum....He was only about 6"....

He looks pretty stunted, should have culled him. (could have cooked him bones and all)
