The spinner is just a no-name piece I got in a bulk lot of used tackle. "Made in Japan," it says.
Clipped away the original hook and had a double there instead.
Now I've added the Uni-clip as you see.
They work good this way, with the added length. Fish seem to short strike spinners in my experience and this clip adds extra length to overcome this.
When using soft plastic grubs, I usually cut the body down so it's mostly tail. These Slider grubs are also good with their paddle tail.
A nice Wooly Bugger or Sparrow (shown) make good trailers and I've used live worms on the baitholder, too.
