Monksville Reservoir North west section ,Beech Road access

A famous Fly fisherman/Author named Edward Ringwood Hewittt, son of an iron mogul, lived in the Ringwood Manor estate during summer months.Before the Monksviile reservoir, Beech Brook and the Wanaque River converged around this area. There are vague remnants of an old fishing camp in the woods in the right section of this photo.

I suspect that Edward Hewitt fished here quite a bit.
