That's cool looking.....I can't wait to see how the big Fliers turn out that Tim Overbaugh has that I caught earlier this year.....they were in great shape and 9.5 to 10 inches long......
Thanks Jeffrey. We'll take all the help we can get. Yeah, they're dropping around a 1/4" per day. I've ceased fishing in the hybrid pond, as I don't want to stress the fish. I'm aerating 24/7 right now, water temps are in the mid 90's, and visibility is dropping. Found a floater tonight.
On a lighter note, I found a pic of the angler with his record flier...looks like he had it mounted, or had a replica made!
That's funny that it even made it to the record books....makes you wonder if the person knew what it was or took it in to be identified....Hope you guys get some rain soon Tony...I watched a drought feature today and Indiana might be the worst state right now! Are your pond levels dropping?
Don't feel too bad Jeffrey... the state record for fliers in Indiana stands at 3.5 ozs !! It's the smallest "record" on the books!
