That is a neat map, Jeffrey. Did you get it from the DNR? I would like to have one for GA.

Thanks Tooty....I like how it shows all the rivers across the entire state.....all of which host at least one species of sunfish but most of the 28 rivers are home to multiple species of sunfish....These along with an assortment of manmade reservoirs and natural lakes provide an immense diversity for freshwater fishing in North Carolina.....

JEFFREY I COULD TAKE A MMMMMMMMMMONTH OUT OF MY BUSY SCHEDULE INSTEAD OF JUST A WEEK!!!!!!! I WOULD imagine however that the gill population would not be the same for yyyyyyyyears to come, and most importantly you'd have to RETIRE EARLY!!!!!!!! NICE MAP BUDDY!

Thanks Rick....I'm a visual engineer so I like to have diagrams/pictures to help explain and/or answer questions. A lot of diversity in North Carolina with mountains to the west, rolling hills in the central part of the state and the second largest estuary in the U.S. formed by the sounds and the barrier islands....

The area I fish most often is the Pasquotank River Basin in the Northeast Corner of the state......Richmond Mill is down in the Cape Fear Basin.....
