I understand the Pinkish color on the Opercular Region is indicative of  a breeding Male Fallfish.The largest Minnow Species native to Eastern North America.

Henry -This I believe is not a Grass Carp despite it laying in the Grass.These are Native not introduced to the waters I caught them in (pretty sure about that).

Tubercules on the face like this small one .Is it the same species? Still trying to figure .
