I usually hook them under the collar, but they are easier to get stolen that way.

I prefer the underside Tony but I think your results will be similar if the head and legs are in tact for live movement......

That's different than what I was shown, you're going in on the underside of the cricket Jeffrey? I was told to go in from the top, right behind the collar? I'll try both, just wondering which way will keep the bug alive for the longest!
