Where's the picture of it Jeffrey?

Thanks guys....they are probably the most concentrated species of Sunfish in the United States Jason.......It doesn't get particularly cold in their native range but they are more active than bluegill in cold water.....These fish thrive in swamp environments with lower oxygen and I feel very fortunate to have them in the local creeks and rivers of Northeast N.C. and extreme southeastern Virginia......And World Class Fliers swim these waters so that's even more intriguing for me......My Personal Best Flier is with Tim Overbaugh, one of the top taxidermist/artist in the country....Can't wait to see the finished product!

Why don't I ever see these here? Can they survive or does it get too cold? There has to be a reason I've never seen these fish.
