Some fine Black Crappie as we continue to have a mild winter in coastal North Carolina......I'm not complaining, never any ice fishing in this region anyway......

You are welcome....I definitely will if I'm ever in the area, in fact I would almost consider a special trip for fish like you're catching...we just don't have fish like that here in NY. Have a Happy New Year and another successful fishing season.

Thanks for the kind words John....the great thing about BBG......lots of talented folks willing to share.....I rarely get shut down by skim ice although it comes now and then.......hope you get some ice fishing in soon and give me a shout if you're near the Outer Banks of N.C.......good chance I'm on the water or will be soon!

Just got on here again...been looking for some ice, chomp in on the bit to go ice fishing. You are the king of blue gill fishing.?.you sure have had an awesome year and some super gills. Would sure love to have some fishing up here in NY like you have. Maybe some day I can come down and pay you a visit.

We were mild in December last year and have more of the same this year.......looking to close out a great 2014 with a couple more trips before ringing in 2015........These were New Years Eve Crappie from last year!
