I was very excited to see so many female crappie active in the creek basin yesterday..........this speaks to a great spring run for tidal crappie in this region.........this will drive the males to start prepping nesting locations in March with some females arriving before Good Friday............clues that never lie around here will be the dogwood bloom which is a sure fire indicator that some tuxedo crappie have moved shallow.........
