Do you love big bluegill?
These fish are called Spot. Their scientific name is Leiostomus Xanthurus. They are the most prevalent fish in the Chesapeake Bay. They live up to three years and can grow up to 12 inches. The record was caught out of Virginia’s part of the Chesapeake and weighed over 2 pounds. These are great eating fish! I caught this one near Solomons Island, Maryland.
