Thank you Alex... This picture was taken on a road trip to Charlottsville Va .. I was working and on the way back, I took her to the local county park. We were catching 1 medium size bluegill after the other. She was using that little kiddie reel you get from Zebco and these were big enough to make it "creak". She was about 2 1/2 then and is now three and loves fishing. She likes to drive the trolling motor and she likes it when a fish lands in the bottom of the boat and goes "crazy". I love being with her and any kid fishing for bluegill. There is absolutely nothing like the excitment in their face when they catch one. Who is that in the picture by your link? Granddaughter?
That's a priceless smile she's got going right there! Congrats Ed and tell your granddaughter GOOD JOB!

You are correct Mike... and we do like taking our own out, but we will take any kid (their parents too) fishing. If you can get them interested in it while they are young then you can use it to educate them on the environment, science, sportsmanship and the value of friends who share your interests. That is why I love bluegills ..... we can generally find them and if kids catch a lot of fish they want to go back . I hope to get some new fishing pictures with Emma this spring. If you get any with Tori and your grandson post them up.
